Sawamura Eijun is still a loudmouth, obnoxious and inexperienced pitcher from Nagano. Eijun is still a self-taught baseball player, but he has some great advices from his grandpa, who knows nothing much about baseball, but wiser than his one-track mind grandson.

Kuramochi stops mid-drink. “I knew you were trash and Sawamura deserved better.”
A vein in Kazuya’s forehead ticks. “I’m not having one!”

Sawamura has been distant these past two weeks and Miyuki thinks that Sawamura is finally going to break up with him, when in actuality, that's exact opposite of what Sawamura wants.

It all starts with a button.
“No way…" Kuramochi slows to a stop, "Are you kidding me?!”
“What?” Kazuya eyes Kuramochi.
“Who's the lucky gal? Or should I say unlucky,” Kuramochi grimaces as he starts walking again.
“What do you mean?” Kazuya's brows furrow.
“Your missing button," Kuramochi clarifies.
“Hm? Oh, what about it?”
“Who'd you give it to?”
“What does that have to do with anything? Sawamura wanted it for some reason.”
The next stage post graduation for Miyuki Kazuya is full of unexpected ups and downs and twists and turns, all thanks to a certain pitcher that is one Sawamura Eijun. He's strapped in for the ride sure, but can't seem to find the brakes or work the steering wheel right. Though maybe it's because he's not the one driving anymore!

Best timeskip AU I've ever found. A little frustrated because of the timeline and random social media posts in between, though. Oh, and there's some repetitive paragraph in two parts, too. Still, the best! Love the angst, and the fluff hidden behind it.
