The Smoke War brought the City to a standstill as the machinery of war roared to life; its output nothing but industrialized slaughter wrought upon by weapons never seen. This sentiment, though valid, is only one I would retain if the war itself was not such a lopsided affair.
Yet, what if a person who has fought in, wrote about, and documented these Great Wars as a military historian was sent to a City 3 years before the Smoke War erupted?
Can the lessons learned from Earth’s past change the City’s future? For one Eisenhauer, the answer is this: "You never know what you can do until you try.”
