    Summary

Title to Change because the joke doesn't make sense yet. Open to suggestions.

Nikki Bobbins is just doing a completely normal geological survey while her two younger teen siblings are using their sister's work as an excuse to vacation. Nikki, Marcus, and Millie are exploring a strange cave with beautiful giant blue crystals when they run into three kids who look surprised to find other people out touching grass. First they tell them to leave, making up some obvious lie about working for the parks service. Then they run into a bunch of giant alien robots who look annoyed to see them. Then more robots show up and there's a bunch of shooting. Someone must be a terrible shot because apparently the crystals are explosive.

The last thing Nikki thinks before she blacks out from the pain of what feels like knives erupting from her skin is that this assignment was supposed to be boring. They weren't supposed to get involved.

Just a basic OC story. Three original human characters get involved with the Autobot/Decepticon war. There's nothing weird going on. Promise. They also wake up as Cybertronians which is just not a thing that's supposed to happen. But besides that, nothing weird.

    Summary

It turns out that being wired into giant war machines doesn’t play nice with human brains. The Earth Mechanical Defense Force, or EMDF, learned that the hard way when their pilots started going… neurotic, let’s say, after a few missions.

The obvious solution to that problem was to simply wire the pilot into their mecha permanently, that way their mind wasn’t being strained by the constant in and out. Unfortunately that strategy backfired and the pilots started going neurotic much, much faster, and this time they were giant and made of metal and much harder to put down.

So, the obvious next step would be to pull the plug on that idea and go back to the drawing board, right? No, that’s ridiculous, the next step was obviously to simply…

Make the mecha forget they’d ever been human in the first place.

Somewhere along the line someone should have pulled the plug, but they’d already invested so much into the project, and you know what they say about sunk cost fallacy.

    Summary

After the war, Bumblebee had grown tired of expectations costantly forced on him, of duties that never ended, of being told who he was supposed to be.

At first, he hunted Decepticons with his team on Earth. But then the council stepped in, insisting he attend the Academy to "refine his skills", because apparently — he wasn't good enough in his job for them.

A year later, framed for a murder he didn’t commit, Bumblebee fled. Branded a fugitive, he vanished into the underground and became something else: an assassin, striking from the shadows to target the Council that betrayed him.

Eventually he got captured, the Council deemed him too dangerous for prison and sentenced him to the shadowzone.

    But something went wrong.

Instead of exile, he woke up on the Nemesis—Megatron’s warship. Mid-war in the past.

Though it's just a nightmare, right?

    Summary

An irritated Pokemon might tell you to stop what you're doing. An irritated animal will probably just attack you. Pokemon, for all their power, would be open books and a breeze to care for to any competent animal handler on Earth. After a fiery death, a professional zookeeper who never outgrew Pokemon games ends up in the world of Pokemon. The entire world is thrown onto its side.

Very inspiring take on how the Pokemon world works, the worldbuilding makes everything feel tangible, grounded and real in a really refreshing way. The character moments are very pleasant and natural to read as well, each character feels like their own full person with their own goals, logic and ambitions that all interact and gel together nicely to create really cool and interesting storylines that grip hard and don't let go.

Love the way Pokemon health is explored in this, it always kind of bothered me whenever anime episodes had the human characters eating a variety of fresh cooked meals while the Pokemon almost always just got kibble or chow or other undetailed packaged food... when they're clearly intelligent and have their own tastes... anyway.

Overall, this is a really great story I can't get enough of. It has such a great balance of mystery, suspense, intrigue and adventure that all feels connected by observable logic and powerful interpersonal bonds, that it's changed how I view Pokemon as a whole (for the better!). Highly recommend!!

    Summary

When it comes to finding trouble, Smokescreen can’t seem to get a break. He had been on patrol when these humans in white suits captured him. Thankfully, this human who floats and claims to be a ghost rescues him. Phantom, the other humans call him or Danny, as the boy later introduces. When circumstances call for Danny to be brought to the base, questions arise on who and what exactly Danny is.

Unfortunately for Smokescreen and the rest of Team Prime, Danny Phantom also attracts trouble. If that includes a GIW and Decepticon team-up, so be it. The two soon-to-be battle partners can only hope to get out of this in one piece or as alive as they entered it.
