Summary
This fic introduces a new couple Javier (Jay) Rodriguez and his Hockey Player husband Ethan Smith who plays for the hockey team in Dallas. In this story the main couple is actually already married. This is a different kind of love story. This is more of a story about Jay and his love not only for his husband and hockey, but also for the other queer hockey players. Jay is the protective type and he takes the other players under his wing. He looks out for them, stands up for them, encourages them. Ethan his husband grew up in a small family and loves the big family that Jay creates with his warm welcoming personality. This is to show sometimes your love can expand outside just your immediate family. This one is a lot about chosen family.

“They can’t have misspelled it that much, that can’t be true!”, Barrett exclaimed, still laughing.
But Ilya’s heart dropped as realisation hit.
She was right.
There were two entirely different names on there.

Summary
