Most of the Sinners are upset, but Ryōshū especially is unsatisfied. She wants her promised wish fulfilled, and Dante wants to stay alive in the hostile City now that they've lost the protection of both Limbus Company and the 'flow' itself.
To wish upon an artificial star, one must first light it. Through Ryōshū's reckless doing so, Dante leads what remains of LCB down a very, very different path.

Summary
Newly ten years old, Jia Baoyu already knows that there’s very little he can do to change the world around him. That doesn’t mean he doesn’t wish things were different though. So when a venture with his Grandmother takes him into the fallen La Manchaland, Jia Baoyu decides to try and help someone, one last time.
Don Quixote of La Manchaland has spent the last two hundred years dwelling on all his failures, and has come to the only logical conclusion: That his nature as a bloodfiend prevents any manner of change, and that his dream had been nothing but a fantasy. With his family dead, he has resigned himself to the same fate; only to end up living with a small human child who still has a dream of his own.
Maybe they can both learn something from each other.

Summary
Life has been mostly the same for Byleth for a very long time. It's not exactly predictable, but she understands it, mostly.
And then, well.... It all starts with a weird morning.
The girl on the stone chair woke up, there are these noble kids here, Remire is under attack by bandits, there's a Monastery and a loud man in big armor and the noble kids (who, by the by, are the heirs to the three nations of Fodlan) are being very weird about her, time has gone from a way to count events to a thing that can roll and flow and turn and has hands, this sassy child is sharing her life in a fantastically literal way, and Byleth's fairly sure she died somewhere in the middle of it all?
It's just... it's just a lot. Things are changing, things that haven't changed for as long as Byleth can remember, and now she's got to deal with that.
She knows, she just knows, that breakfast is going to be late.
