Summary
“I wasn’t gonna let an unknown message from you sit on me for an hour or two.” Seungmin’s eyes widen instantly.
“Hyung-ah,” Jeongin laughs, fucking laughs at him. Seungmin feels another pout forming on his lips. “What’s the longest you’ve had sex?” No. Don’t ask that. As much as he loves lying, this feels like something he should lie about.
“I-I-uh. I’ve never.” God, this is so embarrassing.
“My Seungmin hyung a virgin?” Jeongin asks, but it sounds more like a statement. It sounds like he’s assessing Seungmin and seeing how much he’s worth. “You don’t say? How much a virgin, kissed, messed around?”
“I’ve kissed someone, Innie. Stop asking questions, this is why I never told you.”
OR: Seungmin’s best friend, Jeongin, figures out he’s a virgin.

Summary
Jeongin is by his side in a moment, “What’s going…” The alpha trails off and Seungmin can hear him sniffing behind him, “You smell so good.”
Seungmin can’t get anything out with the pain in his gut, but he would share the same sentiment. Usually, he detests the scent of Jeongin’s campfire. It’s always been too ashy and cocky, but right now it feels comforting and safe.
“You— you smell so sweet.” The alpha continues.
Seungmin can barely sense his own scent, normally, but his peaches are filling his nose now and it is exactly that—sweet.
As another wave of cramps hit and Jeongin lets out a somewhat similar groan next to him, does Seungmin realise what might have happened.
“F-fertility plant.”

Summary
Then the door to the bedroom opens and Seungmin comes out. Jeongin’s first thought is that he looks terrible: his eyes have dark circles under them and his hair is a mess. He looks at Jeongin like he’s seeing a ghost.
“Hey,” Jeongin says, holding up the shopping bag. “I, uh, got the stuff.” It seems so stupid now. He almost died over some cup ramyeon and shampoo.
Seungmin crosses the room so fast, Jeongin doesn’t even have time to react. The next thing he knows, Seungmin is hugging him, gripping him so tight he can barely breathe. “Oh, thank God,” he says, his voice barely above a whisper. “You’re back.”
“Um,” Jeongin says, awkwardly patting his back. “Is everything okay?”
“You were gone,” Seungmin says hoarsely, “for four days. It should’ve taken you two at most.”
“Yeah,” Jeongin says, still too shocked to really say anything smarter. “I—I got a little . . . sidetracked.”
(or: Jeongin and Seungmin are just trying to survive the end of the world—and also each other)

Summary
Seungmin and Jeongin have been friends for almost two decades, which is almost as long as their families have co-owned a luxurious island resort. Years ago, in an attempt to teach their sons responsibility, their parents sent them there to work. Seungmin quickly became the administrative supervisor due to his keen attention to detail and a burning desire to not have a manager, but Jeongin remains a concierge.
He’s never been able to figure out why his friend refuses to promote, but Seungmin will admit that Jeongin’s constant company in the administrative offices is nice.
Maybe it’s odd that they’re together more often than not, and that they cuddle in their shared room before bed. But Jeongin is straight and there’s nothing Seungmin can really do about that.
***
“Goodnight,” Jeongin tucks himself closer, and Seungmin can perfectly picture the curve of his smile and the dimples in his cheeks, less noticeable now that they’ve gotten older yet there all the same.
“Goodnight,” is all Seungmin says.
I love you, is what he means.
