Pomni took a step back, not looking forward to whatever this was going to be.
Caine snapped his fingers and opened a portal. “By the end, all of your issues will be completely resolved! And we can finally move past all this interpersonal drama and get back to enjoying all of my amazing adventures! Have fun, my terrific little teacups!”
“W-wait-“ Ragatha stammered as they all tried to resist being pulled forward. “Aren’t you going to explain what we’re doing!?”
“Ah-ah! No spoiling the show!” Caine said as the force behind the portal became stronger and they all got sucked in.

Jax had seemed off when they all got back to the circus, Kinger noticed. He had an oblivious stare, almost like he was dead to the world. Kind of like a robot, or a marionette being controlled by a puppeteer. He had gone to hide in a dark corner in the character room hallway of the circus, somewhere where Kinger would have enough awareness to comfort him. Caine had seemingly turned off the lights.
