“Wanna tell me what’s going on?” Lance asked.
“Nothing.”
“It's 1 am and you’re up training instead of sleeping in your perfectly comfortable, warm bed.”
“It’s not 1 am. We’re in space. And time is a social construct anyways.”
Lance sighed, long suffering, exasperated and fond. Keith took a moment to survey the boy before him. To the untrained eye, Lance was a picture of relaxation. Slumped shoulders, easy smile, soft eyes. But Keith was anything but untrained when it came to his boyfriend, he noticed the fidgeting hands, the nervous lip biting, the slight rocking as he stood in place.
Lance was worried.
OR
Keith is struggling after Shiro's disappearance but luckily his right hand man (and boyfriend) is always ready to help. If only Keith wasn't also struggling with accepting that help.

It’s a matter of principle, Lance decides. Keith said he’d be here, so he should be here, not trapped in some cold, damp, abandoned bunker, on Christmas.
So what if Keith doesn’t like the tinsel and lights; Lance was going to get slightly tipsy on nunvil with him and talk.
OR
When a last minute mission leaves Keith stranded in an abandoned Galra base over Christmas, the team agrees to postpone their rescue til after the party. Desperate to spend Christmas with Keith, Lance ignores procedure and embarks on his own rescue operation. But when things go sideways, he may be the only one able to reach Keith in time to save his life. Oh, and in time for Christmas.

Lance hears what he can only call a growl behind him, and the hair rises on the back of his neck. His skin tingles and he has to bite down on the inside of his cheek to bring the sudden frenzy of thoughts to a stop. Wow, okay. That's… something. "Your 'later' is never."
"That works, too!" Lance chirps. The chest plate comes off, and he tosses it to the side with the others. He starts to fiddle with his belt, but Keith's next words have him freezing.
"Why did you kiss me?"

Feng Xin gets the underlying idea here, of course. The guys after them are looking for two cultivators on the run, not two cutsleeves making out in a random alley, and it’ll make it harder to see their faces. It will definitely work, if they manage to actually make it look like kissing and not… weirdly bumping their foreheads together while Feng Xin is being smothered to death.

The deep brown of his eyes turns almost purple where the light hits his face. His lips are bitten red and chapped. Feng Xin is seized with the urge to kiss him senseless. He’s the most beautiful thing Feng Xin has ever seen. He wants to be the one making Mu Qing look like this, the one to shatter his perfect composure, make him scream–
The car flips over, and he spends the rest of the ride fighting down nausea and regretting every life decision that’s led him here.

Mu Qing stared, horrified. “No.” Did Feng Xin think that by attending a few practices over the years meant that he’d be immediately ready to hop in the lion and dance?! “I don’t want to be caught in this, I have to help with setting up with other parts of the event, I’ll have no time to do it.”
Feng Xin visibly deflated, the invisible puppy ears on his head being pressed against his head as he shot Mu Qing a desperate look. “Please? Who else am I supposed to ask?”
Mu Qing was about to smack Feng Xin over his head, who did he think he was to ask Mu Qing to do so?! As if Mu Qing would spend months on end in close proximity to Feng Xin practicing with him!
“Feng Xin, that is a great idea!” Sofia beamed.
Mu Qing felt his soul leave his body. Fuck, he really wasn’t getting out of this.

Or Mu Qing joins Feng Xin's lion dance team so they can perform for Lunar New Year at their university, but one thing leads to another, and feelings develop.

He still smells of dry leaves but, instead of the typical suffocating burnt wood, Mu Qing finds a sweeter, almost forgotten scent oozing from him.

Mu Qing tries lifting his head and examines the surrounding area in search of Xie Lian’s face but he’s stunned to realize they’re completely alone.
Why does he..? Why with..?
"Feng Xin, are you alright? What's wrong?" Mu Qing can't help but ask, for once unable to hide his concern.

He was a study in metallics. Bedecked in jewelry but with all white hair, tinged silver. Mercurial eyes. Right hand crafted out of gold, veins of it climbing up past his shoulder and kissing his clavicle. A streak of gold scored across the bridge of his nose, like a scar. He was shirtless, yards of gleaming muscle revealed to feast upon.
And he also wore bright blue harem pants and nipple piercings so...yeah.
The smoke dispersed, leaving only him and that dull oil lamp at his feet. The man turned, movements stiff. His gaze found Keith’s. “Oh Master of the Lamp—.”
Keith screamed.
