He can't decide if there's any shame in the fact that he can't really feel it through several layers of fabric. "I mean, there's really nothing I can do for you? I feel... bad. Always taking up so much of your time. And you don't even get anything out of it!"
Mike pshaw's. "Get what, get nothing? Of course I'm getting something outta this!" He snaps the covering over Tenna's chest closed, and pats the middle of his pecs. "I get to see you having a good time, feeling good about yourself. That's more than enough for me, boss."
(Or; the whole Mike ruse meant there could never be any real reciprocation in matters of the lascivious. That is, if Battat even wanted there to be any in the first place. What does he need a thing like that for?)

Summary
Wade is contracted to kill Spider-man, but after some surveillance he decides the hero is just too chill to kill. Too sweet to defeat. Too squish to extinguish. Too golden boy to destroy. (Etcetera.)
Somehow, instead of blowing up in his face, it avalanches into a tentative friendship filled with crime-fighting, Netflix bingeing, top notch take-out, city-saving, shenanigans, weird alien symbiotes, and personal growth.
Which is pretty much when Wade knows he’s fucked. But like, maybe in the good way, for once?

An up-and-coming masked hero is revealed to be a serial killer, and the public is terrified. Everyone's demanding that Spider-Man reveal his identity for their own safety, and as if that isn't enough, Deadpool is hired to make sure it happens. Peter's stressed enough as it is with work and rent and school and a new super villain cropping up — he just doesn't have time for this. He especially doesn't have time for Deadpool accosting Peter Parker, wanting Spider-Man's photographer to help track down the elusive hero.

Wade scoffs, shaking his head and elbowing Peter in the side. “Sure,” he says, sarcastic. “That’s why your spidey-sense doesn’t see me.”
Peter’s on the verge of laughing, wanting to join Wade in his amusement, but he freezes. His entire body goes still. He finds himself staring at a roof three buildings over, not even looking at anything. Two blocks away, a car alarm finally shuts off.
“I never told you that,” Peter says, the realization startling him.

Mirage is in pieces. Everything else is over, the battle won, but it doesn't feel like it when Noah only has a seemingly dead pile of silver metal to show for it. But he'll fix him, no matter what it takes, even if he has to ask everyone he knows to help make it happen. Optimus seems to believe he can; so maybe Mirage is more alive than he appears at first glance.
And, hopefully, he doesn't die in the time it takes to make it happen.

Today’s activity was a scavenger hunt. Nothing new; Caine had pulled out the same adventure with different items for them to look for a couple of times before. Pomni had played this game before, and despite Caine’s insistence that he re-explain the rules every time, it would prove to be a pretty simple task. Today had been shaping up to be fairly easy by Circus standards. That was, until Caine had told her specifically to come find him after their morning de-briefing. He had explained that he had a “special adventure” for her, but didn’t elaborate beyond that. It made the jester uneasy; who knew what the Hell he had planned for her.

With nowhere else to go, Riley returns to the place they spent their childhood- Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex. When they discover that something is very wrong with the animatronics, they're forced to take shelter in the Superstar Daycare.
Considering that their favorite hobby has always been analyzing how animatronics work and think, Riley is thrilled at the chance to get to know the Daycare Attendant. Too bad everything had to go wrong first for them to get here. At least they're safe in the daycare, right? No health and safety hazards here in the Superstar Daycare absolutely none no siree.
AKA mostly a whole lot of playing with and getting to know Sun- As long as the lights stay on, anyway.

Summary
You weren't a technician, you weren't a security guard, you weren't a daycare assistant. You're just an employee. Staff. The ‘jack-of-all-trades’ employee with mediocre at best skills and specialty in none, tasked with doing miscellaneous jobs that robots couldn't do and human staff couldn't care to. The job is unpredictable, but it pays good and it's relatively easy.
Except for the part where all the animatronics are more sentient than you thought, and you're roped into a mystery surrounding the Daycare Attendants, who are bit too curious about you for your liking.
