He'll get him out of Arkham and team up with him, so long as Edward will first stay with Bruce Wayne for an undisclosed amount of time- without hurting him. Edward would do absolutely anything to prove to Batman that his love is true, even if it means sparing the man he hates the most. Especially if Batman keeps kissing him during his trial.
