Dennis glares at her, sinking into his chair. “What is he doing here? In this bar? Right now?”
At that, Samira looks slightly guilty. “I told Jack I was going out with you guys when he was on the phone to Robby. He might have overheard.”
“Oh my god.” Trinity scoffs, shaking her head while glaring at the bar. “He really is pathetic.”“Sorry.” Samira winces.

Dennis raises an eyebrow at him. “Huh?”
“I’m not a therapist.” Jack starts. “But I have experience, and advice if you want it.”Dennis tilts his head and stares at him for a moment, before pulling out his phone and handing it to Jack with a new contact already open.

“You could have been nicer about this.” Dennis mumbles quietly. Robby scoffs.
“What, so you don’t want him to stop?”
“I do.” Dennis insists. Of course he does. He’d sacrifice a lot to avoid the nauseous worry he feels every time Jack goes for another mission, or to never have to tend to another of his injuries again. “But I don’t think it’s going to work like this.”
“He needs to see reason eventually. He can’t keep doing this shit, Dennis.”
What about you? Dennis can’t help but think. When are you going to stop?
