Summary
Sometimes, it feels like he never really made it out.
When he wakes up at night, sweaty and nauseous and hurting, he’s there. When he only gets through 5 of his stretches before the pain gets him out of breath, he’s fucking there. He- it doesn’t trigger a flashback every time, but it’s a reminder, that his life has been so severely affected by the krang and there are some parts of himself that he won’t get back, some parts that will never be the same.
Maybe a little part of him died in the prison dimension. Never left, left behind.

“Jiro, if you have a quest-”
“Your heart rate is way too low.” And that made sense because his knees are feeling significantly weaker.

The freckles that dusted his cheeks, he knew came from his mother. The ski slope nose also belonged to his mother, but the boy’s sharp cheekbones and jaw line were Spy’s. But what was his son doing here of all places?

His angel looked like a tomato. He couldn’t help but tease the man. “When we talked about EDEN and Earth? Something exchange?”
Ryland whimpered as Simon began rubbing his side. Every touch was electric. God, he was sensitive. He swallowed, throat clicking loudly. “Cultural exchange,” Grace answered.
“Yeah. Cultural exchange.” Simon chuckled, “Let’s do that. Let me show you how we make life.” He pulled Grace to him, chest to chest.

Grace is pretty sure everyone is overreacting. After all, it's a cough. A cold? The sniffles, at worst. It's nothing to freak out about and it surely doesn't warrant this type of shutdown, right?
