A new transfer student has come to PK Academy, and while Saiki Kusuo tends to do his best to stay away from newcomers, his apparent friends are adamant in befriending this new guy. The only problem is that ever since Kurosaki Hiro stepped into his school, Saiki's powers hardly work as they should. Not only can he not read Kurosaki's mind, but he can't read anyone's mind the moment he's in the same vicinity as him.
To make matters worse, Kurosaki doesn't even seem to be human.

But the reality wasn't as simple as that, especially toward a certain lone fox. Could he get his freedom from a certain bunny officer? Or maybe he would lose all of his hope and end his life before she could help him?
What Nick Wilde knew was that, life is never fair, especially toward a collared fox like him.
And there was no way for a bunny officer, named Judy Hopps, to genuinely help him. Just no way, impossible. Never.

Summary
Basically Jax is going through a hard time. Ribbit was Jax's older brother, and Ribbit was abusive in private to Jax. Ribbit ruined Jax's self esteem and helped shape Jax into an asshole. Everyone blames Jax for Ribbit's abstraction, because towards the end, Jax started lashing out at Ribbit. Jax knows Ribbit was an asshole, but like most abusers, Ribbit didn't show that side to everyone, acting like a kind and normal person.
This is set in episode 6, and then deviates from canon. Jax is freaking out when he realizes he actually enjoys being close to Pomni, and doesn't want to kill her like everyone else.
