Well The Narrator and Stanley escaped. That was the easy part.. Now technically an illegal alien and with limited employment opportunities, Stanley must wait as the wheels of bureaucracy turn slowly to grant him true citizenship. Among his worries are the meager checks he must spend almost entirely on rent. Adjusting to the idea of being surrounded by people. Oh, and of course, The Narrator's verbal beratement when he comes home. Things are going to come to a head but perhaps if Stanley plays his cards right he might be able to fix the dam before it bursts!

Summary
Stanley didn't know much.
He had been running through this endless loop for as long as he could remember. Yellowed carpet and stagnant fluorescent buzzing were the building blocks of his memory, as well as a voice above his head speaking his name so that he could remember. He might've forgotten long, long ago, if the voice hadn't spoken it every other word.
The voice never gave him a name. He doesn't remember if he had ever asked for one. Sometimes, he thought of it as "the narrator", sometimes, "the voice", or even his tormentor if he was feeling especially blameful.
He wished he had the excuse of physical fatigue to stop for a second. The voice didn't seem to validate his woes. The voice insisted on his progression through the place, and though he should've remembered, he'd forgotten what he'd done already. Maybe he was just re-walking the lines in the sand, maybe he'd exhausted everything new. Maybe he just didn't care about the new things anymore.
Or...
After the skip button, the narrator goes mad. Stanley suffers the consequences of something he cannot remember any longer.

Summary
New in Castle Town, Swatch receives an odd request from the Lightners: To wear the Dealmaker at all times. The pair of glasses reminiscent the buried feelings they had for their old friend Spamton. Then, Swatch discovers the salesman had, in fact, become the inanimate equipment.
They take upon their wings to help Spamton to reconnect with his family and his sense of agency. Confronting in the process their own self-worth issues.
