When Mikey woke up for the tenth time that day, he looked around. He barely had any strentgh to stay up at all, his arms burned and he felt so lightheaded he was on the verge of unconciousness once again, but he just had to see. To be sure.
His arms were wrapped around someone.
Okay. Leo was in the room. Okay. One brother down. Two more to go.
He looked up. Raph was beside them, also asleep and leaning against the bed. While normally Mikey would want to check for a heartbeat, he could hear the oldest snore, so that was enough for now. Just one more.
Mikey scanned the room, about to pass out again the moment he spotted the third-
Donnie wasn't in the room.
Why wasn't Donnie in the room?
WHERE IS DONNIE?!

A turtle. All angles and elbows, neon cutting sharp against the void. Two streams of blood marked his face, hidden under a blue mask. Leo?
Mikey slammed into him, wincing as he took in the bruises, the odd angles. The turtle blinked, eyes almost swollen shut.
“M'key?” He mumbled, before he tensed all up and grabbed Mikey by the shoulders, “Mikey! Nonono- you can't-” Mikey couldn't help but reach back, cupping Leo's face in his hands. They weren't blood, they were stripes. A Leo, turtle, blue mask, but.. not his Leo. Leo's eyes, fuzzy with pain, scanned over him fully.
“..you're.. you're not…” He breathed. Mikey shook his head, mask tails swinging and miserable. He wasn't. “You can't be here!” Mikey's mouth trembled,
“I dunno..”, he gasped, “I dunno.”
