Summary
Dr. Lawrence Blaire, once a Deputy Director at Murkoff, is drugged by Director Hendrick Easterman and demoted to personal assistant. He’s kept on Personnel Watch under Easterman’s supervision to keep him from being killed by the company. Trapped as Easterman’s assistant, Lawrence endures constant provocation, harassment and generally Easterman being a pervert. Lawrence is furious and very aware he’s now bound to the man who saved and ruined him. Easterman enjoys every second of this ordeal he’s orchestrated. Unfortunately for him, Lawrence is not an idiot and finds ways to turn Easterman's vices in his favor. But little does Lawrence know, there's more than one person willing to go through extreme lengths to put him in harms way, even if that means falsifying records and making him an involuntary embed in the Sleep Room.
The title is Murkoff's motto.
This turned out way more freaky than I intended but it's whatever.
Multiple endings when we get to that point.

I'm still at the early chapters and they sound like they're fucking each other to outsiders bro easterman is def doing that on purpose "youre limping - the guards pulled me before I finished" DUDE. hearing that my mind would immediately go to sex if I didn't just read about the mc throwing himself at easterman to violently beat him and attempt to strangle him after getting drugged nonconsensually
ohmygod there were already rumors circulating way before that happened.. no wonder people were so cautious within Lawrence's presence
“If you ever do this again,” Lawrence said, each word precise, deliberate, “I will not stop myself. I won’t worry about the record. I won’t worry about the hearings or the headlines or what they say about me afterward. I will break you in whatever way presents itself, and I will sleep like a baby afterward.”
Easterman’s mouth curved. “You mean that.”
“I do,” Lawrence said flatly. “And I want you to remember how it felt, just now, when you weren’t in control.”

Please tell me more, sprout all your plans to me, ideally in a prolonged monologue,” Zandik shrieks as 18 suddenly picks him up by the scruff. “Just sit riiight there, alright?” Zandik is suddenly dropped into an armchair. It’s a really comfy one too, rife with pillows and the smell of coffee from a scent jar on the table- wait, no! He can’t fall asleep, not now!
18 shuffles his research papers against the glass of the coffee table, but Zandik is quicker. He jumps out of the chair and snatches it back, hugging it to his chest.
“If you won’t help me, then I’ll prove my results myself!” He dodges a halfhearted swipe. “I’ll find the most Aranara anyone's ever found, and I won’t come back until I do!”

It also says here that Aranaras prefer places that are rich in Dendro energy. So maybe, all Zandik needs to do is to kidnap a whole bunch of vision users and bundle them up in a giant ball with lots of twine.
Dang it, he can hear 18 calling his plans impractical. Shoo shoo! You’re not supposed to be here!
“I’m doing my super important research, of course!” Zandik says. “I need to collect lots of vision users to help me out!”
At the others' silence, Zandik repeats himself more slowly. He gets it. He can be super accommodating. His rescuer’s hair is a shade of gray, and he has a headset over one ear, so he’s probably an elderly man with hearing issues.
