    Summary

Neuvillette stared at his reflection and thought: If he touched me, would I dissolve?

    He had never been kissed.

Not truly. Not by someone who meant it.

Not by someone who had wanted him.

He could recite the law in four ancient dialects. He could interpret the subtle gestures of the Oratrice. He could pass judgment on murder, on betrayal, on cruelty wrapped in finery. But he did not know what to do if someone touched his jaw and asked, Can I?

Could he say yes? Was he allowed?

Was wanting something the same as deserving it?

Or, wanting is no longer a sin, and Neuvillette learns to speak it.

    Summary

A collection of my trans Wriothesley fics. They are best if read in order because there is a vague plot arc, however, they can also absolutely be read individually or in any order as well. All take place after 4.2.

    Summary

Eventually, Wriothesley says, “I used to dream about dying.”

    Neuvillette’s breath stills.

Wriothesley continues. “Just… you know. The kind of dreams where you’re falling, or running, or buried under something. And no one notices.”

He doesn’t look away as he says it.

“They stopped for a while,” he adds. “After I met you. After I—after we—” He shakes his head. “But last night it wasn’t me. It was you. And I couldn’t do anything.”

“You reached for me,” Neuvillette says again, gently.

Wriothesley gives him a look. “I know. You said that already.”

“I’ll say it again if I must.”

    A beat.

Then Wriothesley chuckles, rough and low and not quite healed. “You always this stubborn in the morning?”

Or, Wriothesley reaches out, and this time, Neuvillette reaches back.

    Summary

“Monsieur Chief Justice,” Wriothesley says, not sure if he wants to laugh or walk straight into the sea. “Are you unfamiliar with floriography?”

Returning to his dockets, Neuvillette says, “I understand it is a passing trend among the young people of Fontaine, but I have never given it much of my own regard.”

Wriothesley chokes. Half of Fontainian society communicates via the unspoken language of flowers, using bouquets to augment or even subvert their messages. “I wouldn’t call it a passing trend,” Wriothesley manages, strangled.

Wriothesley teaches Neuvillette the subtle political art of floriography, and Neuvillette takes the opportunity to communicate more privately with the Duke.

    Summary

“Vongola Decimo had been murdered. All guardians to gather in Namimori,” said a shaking voice that both Hibari and Kusakabe recognized very well; the voice belonged to none other than said Vongola Decimo’s right-hand man, Gokudera Hayato.
