Summary
Shikamaru and Temari’s seemingly stable marriage begins to fracture under the weight of silence, cultural dissonance, and years of suppressed emotion. When casual conversations with Ino reveal uncomfortable information, Temari finds herself spiraling into doubt, desire, and silent rage. What starts as a private little crisis between two people slowly unfolds into a much larger threat—one that pulls their closest friends, even allies into a web of political manipulation, threats and hidden agendas.
And in the background of all this, a group of innocent-kids are fulfill their absurd ideas.At its core, this is a Shikatema-centric story about miscommunication, vulnerability, and the cost of loving someone across cultural lines. Behind closed doors fantasies and fears collide. Outside, someone is pulling the strings, slowly drawing the entire Ino-Shika-Cho team into intrigue.
A slow-burn psychological drama exploring adult relationships, emotional repression & sexual frustration.
Themes: adult relationships | sexual frustration | alcohol use | political intrigue | slow unraveling of trust. [At least for now... ]
Rating: M for mature audiences.

My studies of differences in portraying the motive of jealousy in the Japanese and European cultural fiction (more generally: World's West).
The stories included here - for now there will be 3, then I think I will present another 3 - show some cultural differences, and at the same time they are complementary and contextual to my larger story "Cultural Differences". I started reading more about culture, comparing Western and Eastern fanfiction (surprise: they differ hugely in what is considered romantic, desirable behavior, etc. — something I plan to explore in Cultural Differences).
I dug through the internet, google scholar ect and started reading — notably about cultural differences. And that’s how this story was born. -

Set after Shikamaru Hidden and Konoha Hidden, with political intrigue and investigation, collectivism vs individualism, expect sharp reflections, emotional hurt, and eventually, moments of warmth and humor.
