Detroit: Become Human AU with our beloved DSMP characters.
The deviant points the gun it’s holding at the negotiator and asks “Are you armed?”
For some reason this question makes Will tense. Androids aren’t allowed to carry weapons, and surely CyberLife’s newest toy isn’t an exception. Yet something, something tells him that the answer might be a reason to worry.
“Yes,” the negotiator says. “I have a gun.”
Blood drains from Wilbur’s face as the words sink in. It shouldn’t— It shouldn’t be possible, there are protocols, inside programming should prevent androids from even considering touching weaponry, besides there are at least 30 policemen and other armed forces members in the building, at least a few in the room. Who let an android pick up a weapon in the first place?
“Drop it! No sudden moves or I’ll shoot!” The deviant isn’t that surprised, after all, it is holding a weapon of its own. Deviants can do it.
Great! Ideal! A deviant trying to pacify a deviant. Great. CyberLife’s newest toy broke! Wilbur focuses on the serial number visible on his back, preparing to file in a report already. T3CH70. Sounds fancy.

"We have to leave," Wilbur pulled at Tommy's hand. "We have to leave now." Tommy didn't budge.
"What's going to happen to us?" He whispered, staring at at the pale light on the pavement.
Wilbur couldn't answer. They couldn't go back to the group home, they would give them new placements, separate them, and then Wilbur would never see Tommy again. They couldn't go back home, Wilbur still heard the screaming from the open window.
"We'll figure something out, I promise."
Or: Wilbur and Tommy run away from another foster home. Techno and Phil are roommates who just so happen to catch them stealing from their trash.
