Summary
This was originally going to be a multi-chapter slow burn f/f fic with an OC, but once I'd finished this first chapter I decided to let it stand on it's own. It's sort of a pastiche of Night City worldbuilding and ambience.
Yuen Lan is a regular person living in Night City. When V, a terrifyingly nonchalant contract killer, walks into her workplace she knows she's about to have the worst day of her life.

Only weeks after the failed Konpeki Plaza heist, V is strung out, exhausted, and the loneliest he's ever been. Maybe it was some cruel joke, since he now had a 24/7 companion. He never had a moment to himself, not to his grief or his physical needs.

Summary
That’s something Kerry had to accept long ago. Johnny’s way of worming himself into every inch of his life, spreading like rot over his whole word until it was all just Johnny. He stopped trying to fight it, if he ever tried in the first place.
It wasn't a gradual thing either. Johnny came crashing into his life like a runaway train, all wild ideas and loaded smiles. So completely all-consuming that by the time he realized what had happened it was already too late.
