Summary
Merlin's magic is revealed and must face the consequences. There are forces working against him and the creation of Albion, and healing to be had once the beloved servant is presumed dead. Will they be able to come together and bring about Camelot's Golden Age, or will evil prevail? Who will survive?
I was unhappy with how season 5 ended so I wrote this to fix everything. Edited from original posting on fanfiction.net.

Summary
It was tiny and swaddled in a red blanket, and from the dim light of the waxing moon they could see the dark hair atop its head. Merlin was cooing at it and even from their distance they could see the big goofy smile on his face as he wiggled a finger that the baby held in its tiny fist. The woman behind him leaned against the door frame and smiled at the sight before her. She said something softly to him, which caused Merlin to glance up. He flashed a smile and said something back to her, which made her laugh. She leaned forward and encased Merlin in a hug and kissed his cheek before reaching her arms out as he gently handed the baby back to her, making sure to extricate his finger with care. With a final wave, he ducked his head and turned back to the castle, and the woman closed the door behind her.
Elyan and Percival stared at Gwaine.
“When did Merlin get married?”

"Merlin!" Arthur said, diplomat voice gone. Small mercies. Instead of yelling, though, so Merlin could at least yell back, he just calmed himself down and tried again. "Are you missing Gaius?"
The question made Merlin's heart pound, harder. It made an ugly laugh sit in his throat and even uglier truths try and claw their way up around it. "Something like that." Summary

Summary
With Priestess Morgause and the powerful warlock Emrys at his side, King Cenred is set on conquering all of Albion. King Arthur is determined to keep Camelot safe from Essetir's power-hungry ruler. After sending Gwaine to infiltrate and investigate the enemy, Arthur manages to strike Cenred an unexpected blow by capturing Emrys, considered a war criminal of the worst kind. But Arthur and his knights soon get an inkling that Cenred's war sorcerer might not be as evil as they thought him to be. Will a quest to save all of Albion be enough for both king and sorcerer to step back on the path prophecies have once foretold?
