The initial contract was simple. Morax would fake his death, the Tsaritsa would send a harbinger to Liyue to cause chaos, and if Liyue proved it could survive on its own, without the help of its patron god, then Morax would hand over his Gnosis and peacefully go into retirement as Zhongli, control over Liyue given to the people.
The new contract was even more simple. Morax would hand over his Gnosis, and in turn The Tsaritsa would hand over Childe, her eleventh harbinger. A simple swapping of possessions. The Tsaritsa would gain another Gnosis in her mission to overthrow the gods, and Morax… Morax would gain ownership of the being he had become infatuated with.
