Summary
Jisung had meant to get off the train three stations ago. He had dozed off, only to wake to the gentle and steady voice of a stranger, someone who felt familiar, and knew how to calm his racing heart with ease. In the late hours, he offered a place to stay. Slowly, even the dark night no longer scared Jisung. Everything else unfolded naturally, deeply.
Over that one night, he glimpsed the small, precious world of Lee Minho, the one who had been a stranger just hours ago, now already feeling like gravity, pulling him inescapably closer. Jisung knew, before the night was through, that they wouldn’t forget each other after the morning. They wouldn’t become strangers again.

Summary
It's funny, how you can wake in the morning and have no idea where the day will take you, where you'll be at the end of it. So many normal days pass without a thing changing. Ten, thirty, eighty, one-thousand days go by without a single incident. And then—
"Oh, Jisung! This is my cousin, Minho!"
—Minho.
Jisung thought he knew what love was, convinced himself as much. He's starting to think he's had it all wrong.

Summary
“It’s just– isn’t it gonna be weird for her? Like, who’s the mom if we’re both men?” he asked with a slightly nervous giggle, seeing Minho sitting on the floor with Fiona. He didn’t even know why he was nervous.
“Jisung, neither of us are her mom. We’re both her dads,” Minho informed as he flitted his fingers around in front of the kitten again, playing with her—his tone saying duh, like he’d already thought about it.
“Oh, yeah. Right. Both men. Got it.”
Or: Minho and Jisung find an abandoned kitten. They take their new job as parents very seriously.

Summary
“What’s… happening,” mumbles Hyunjin. “Why’s there food for, like. Ten?”
“It’s for them.” Felix nods at Jisung and Minho, seated at the little table beside their stash of takeout.
Hyunjin is silent. Then, “Oh Christ, another one of their stupid contests.”
—
Best friends Jisung and Minho have always had a knack for turning everything into a competition—who can shower faster, who can eat more, who can sooner find a meaningless hookup at a party. It’s when they overstep (or, in Jisung’s case, trip over) the boundary between being friends and more that Jisung finds he cares far less about losing their little games than he does about losing Minho.

Summary
Jisung turns his head to give Minho an angry squint. “I feel like you’re trying to trick me. I don’t know how, or for what reason, but you are.”
Minho isn’t looking at him anymore, scrolling on his phone, gracing Jisung with his ridiculous side profile. “I would never trick you,” he says, voice as flat as the plains of Colorado.
“That sounds like something someone who’s trying to trick me would say.”
“Jisung.”
“What.”
“Come here.” He clicks his phone off and sets it on the nightstand between their beds, then pats his thigh.
“What?” Jisung short circuits for a moment. Minho wants him to… what? Sit on his thigh? Isn’t that a little forward? That has to be skipping at least ten steps. They’ve only known each other for, like, less than 72 hours. And a majority of that was spent antagonizing one another.
“I said come here.” And he pats his thigh again as if that’s a completely normal thing to do.
or
jisung goes on the most miserable road trip of his life and meets a hitchhiker named rhino.
