Summary
Izuku tries his best to hide how badly the aftermath of the war is affecting him.
The nightmares, the lack of sleep, the skipped meals, the slipping grades —he buries all of it under forced smiles and tired excuses.
Most importantly: Katsuki can’t find out.
What sweet Deku didn’t account for, however, "Kacchan Bakugo" has always been far too observant when it comes to him.
He notices the dark circles, the flinching, the way Izuku’s hands shake after training. And once Katsuki realizes something is wrong, he refuses to let it go.
Izuku does his best to deny everything and avoid him — though that becomes a lot harder when even his quirk decides to act up against his will.Eventually, Katsuki corners him after another uncontrolled outburst, demanding fucking answers.

Summary
Midoriya Izuku died in middle school on a rainy Thursday afternoon after climbing onto the roof of Aldera and stepping cleanly over the edge. And nobody had blamed Bakugo Katsuki. Not really. Some students remembered the swan dive comment. Some teachers knew Bakugo had bullied him for years.
But Katsuki was smart, talented, confident. And Midoriya had always been seen as strange anyway – too emotional, too obsessive, too weak, too attached.
Adults shook their heads and called it tragic.
Classmates posted crying messages online for a week before moving on with their lives.
And then worse, Midoriya returned three nights after his funeral, standing silently in Katsuki’s bedroom wearing the same middle school uniform he died in.

Bad ending at 67, good the rest of the way.
GOOD GOD I LOVE THIS STORY. Writing is immaculate, plot was more than engaging and so so beautifully encapsulating, I absolutely adored it and character interactions. Woulderfully written angst and fluff

All Might had no idea what he was truly offering to Izuku, and Izuku, so caught up in the bliss of the moment, so caught up in how his dream began to spark again instead of cease, hadn’t realized what All Might had unknowingly meant either.
When he thought back to All Might’s words from not even an hour ago he couldn’t hear as All Might said “you can be a hero.”
Instead, he heard, “you can be a villain.”
