Summary
Maybe it was just the poor weather, thunder and rain booming outside for hours on end, or maybe Theo was just being paranoid, but he could swear that Parrot was acting differently that day. His movements seemed more controlled, as if he was forcing himself to act in opposition with his own mind, and his eyebags were more pronounced than usual.
There was this strange tension underlying his every action, like the slight humming of torches and redstone dust beneath a well-oiled machine.
Exactly one month after Wifies' death, Parrot finally cracks.

During the 2v1000, Wemmbu dies.
It's all very tragic and sad, but not for Flame, because they're not friends. They're not, never will be. And he'd be perfectly fine wilfully ignoring the cloying, tight sensation in his chest if not for the fact that immediately after, he wakes up back in his bed on the morning before the battle.
Or, a time-loop of sorts, in which Wemmbu refuses to stay alive and Flame refuses to let him go

Summary
“I was asking you a question,” The crimson hollowhead tries to start again, shuffling against Chosen's shoulder and wincing when he accidentally brushes a still-healing cut on his cheek. He vaguely hears Chosen let out a muffled mhm, and then, go on. Dark suddenly finds the couch cushions extremely interesting, picking at a loose string of green thread in favor of meeting Chosen's eyes.
“What do you think… what do you think we are?”
Chosen goes very silent.
