Violet, without a sense of what to do with her fragmented sister, is alleviated when her girlfriend’s parents take pity on the sisters and take them in. A year follows and Jinx would be lying if she said she didn’t somewhat enjoy her new life. Although it had to be disrupted, as everything in life was. Summary
Sometimes…he wondered what his life would have been like if she had never been in it, if he hadn't been cursed to fall in love with the same person who would one day become his enemy. But the stars couldn't be rewritten, and they had already decided his fate.
The War of Hearts I is the first part in a trilogy rewrite series of the canon events of Arcane. In this series, Ekko will play a bigger part in the narrative. Alterntaing pov's are used as a narrative tool for a better understanding of every character in this story. Expect to see a deeper dive into the relationship between Zaun and Piltover and the people that live within both cities. Politics will play a key role in the story, as well as themes of oppression, police brutality, and classism. Vi's time in prison will not be ignored, nor will her deep connection to Jinx as her sister, and the complexities of their relationship. The War of Hearts also answers the question of what if Ekko and Jinx had a sitationship 2 years before the events of Act 2, season one of Arcane.
Or what if I were let into the writers' room of Arcane?

Summary

As her attack on the council sets the stage for a dire escalation in the ongoing class conflict between the two nations, Jinx finds herself put centre stage in this new revolution that Silco had been trying to lead his entire life.
