To say he was bored was an understatement, he was EXTREMELY bored.
So when he stumbles upon a show about some mutant turtles while looking for something he might watch, he can't complain at all.
Because he just won something new that he might obsess over just a little bit, and he's definitely going to integrate his family into it.
