Summary
After Sasha discovers a strange practice that promises to create an autonomous companion in her mind called a 'tulpa'- a practice that seems to toe the line between psychological and metaphysical - it spirals into more than she had ever signed up for. Her new companion deviates into a reptilian monster, mental landscapes undergo strange fluctuations, and there is the growing sense that a door may be opening to something beyond the scope of her own mind. Something truly *alien.*
Amid traumatic events in the outside world and interpersonal conflicts within, Sasha turns towards a mysterious new voice in her head in hopes of finding a way out of the strife. Despite her companion's warnings, she knows it has to be the way forward. It promises great things for her, after all.
Soon, this otherworldly contact lands Sasha directly in the crossfire of a hidden conflict between two ancient, inhuman powers with vastly different ideals, both of whom have their own vision of humanity's future. Sasha's beliefs regarding both sides- and even the very meaning of life itself - are turned completely upside down, all the while she must decide who and what to trust.
