She has survived the city by keeping everything at a safe distance. Inheriting her grandmother's overgrown farm on Coral Island is supposed to be her final chapter. Her plan is simple: fix the house, tend the soil, and wait for the ancient curse branching beneath her skin to finally drag her under.
