This is a "clean" version of my s4 rewrite Steddie fic "Be Kind, Please Rewind" I'm uploading for my mother and anyone else that's interested! (Mom, don't click that link 😅)
Shortly after season four came out, I decided I wanted to rewrite it with the premise that Steve and Eddie were already dating, but I also wanted to show how they ended up dating, and ... Two years later, the story is finally done. This is my magnum opus. I want to print this, bind it, and be buried with it. I hope others find as much joy reading it as I did writing it!

The only thing about school Evan can’t seem to get a grip on is friendships and social interactions, and the one person that is in his way of being better at both of those things is Barty Crouch Jr, Evan’s greatest enemy. So yes, his NEWTs will be fine, but all Evan wants to do is get seventh year over and done with so that he can get away from his peers, so that he can get away from Barty Crouch Jr.
Barty Crouch Jr is the son of high ranking Ministry Official, Barty Crouch Sr, so naturally, Barty couldn’t care less for the rules, in fact, he actively tries to break them. Barty has never much cared for school, never much liked it, was never all too good at it, he doesn’t focus on his studies and instead focuses on building a reputation and picking on the ones who will let him, like Evan Rosier. He hates Evan Rosier, he has no rhyme or reason for it, he just does, at least, he’s sure he does.

Spencer Reid is grieving the loss of Maeve Donovan. Aaron struggles with being there for him while the whole ordeal brings back painful memories of how he had lost Haley.
Their mutual trauma leads to them getting closer. In between late nights in the office, stressful cases and late night, Indian take out they find comfort in each other.Or:
Spencer and Aaron find each other when they need each other the most.--
Beth doesn’t exist.
This is simply my interpretation of how I think the death of Maeve could have brought Hotch and Spencer closer together. I don't think the deaths are necessarily comparable, but after rewatching Zugzwang I couldn't get this idea out of my head.
This short fic is complete and will be uploaded over the course of the next few weeks.

Tony’s been kidnapped again. It’s frustrating. He’s not scarred. The Avengers will find him. They’re playing loud music. Ha! Tony’s immune to loud music, so it doesn’t bother him. But he hasn’t slept since he got here. He doesn’t think so. He’s been unconscious several times but never that long. He thinks.
They stopped beating him. There was maybe half an hour with electricity. But Tony’s been electrocuted so many times by now in the workshop. So they quickly discarded that too.
And Tony’s not scarred. It’s just… The water. They took out the water next.It’s always the water.
He stumbles backwards into the chest of another person. There’s a hand on his left shoulder and another on his right bicep. Keeping him there. Tony flinches - because he didn’t realize there were more guards in here and they’re holding him – and manages to heave in a little air. “Please. No.” He presses into the others chest. Away from the water. He can’t help it. No, no, no, no… He doesn’t know if his begging out loud or just in his head at this point. He squeezes his eyes shut, makes himself small, tries to cover his face with his arms. Time is slow.
“He cannot hurt you anymore" A voice says. It's Loki. What the fuck!
