“It’s my empathy link with Grover.” His voice was low, barely audible. He couldn’t bear to look at either of them as he spoke. “I didn’t think it would still work while we’re so far apart, but…”
“Oh.” Jason blushed.
“Huh?” Leo looked confused. “Why would the empathy link make Percy act so…?”
“Leo,” Jason said, struggling to keep his usual cool. “Satyrs go into ruts.”
“So you mean…” Leo blushed even deeper than Jason. “Oh.”***
