Unfortunately, they quickly realise that what they got instead of sweet studious little techno piglet, is the small and possibly traumatised newly ascended blood god, plucked straight from the fighting ring he was sold to. For the first time, the Syndicate gets to actually see Techno's past from long before he even met Phil.

“You can bring them back to me tonight or tomorrow morning, no later than tha-”
That’s when she looked up, the youngest executive of the port mafia was sitting curled up on her proteges lap, head against his neck glaring fiercely at her as if she had personally insulted him, well maybe she did by calling him a vermin and all that, but she hadn’t expected to see Dazai in his office, he never spent any time there.“I’ll deliver them to you tonight while I hand in the idiot’s work to the boss, Kouyou.” He looked so serious and determined that she would have been proud, if it wasn’t for the fact that Chuuya seemed to be petting Dazai’s hair
