Crowley makes a high noise that might have been a scream had he opened his mouth. “Okay,” he says, the heel of his hand poised on the table as he splays his fingers out in a gesture. “What can I do to make it any clearer?”
Aziraphale gingerly refills Crowley’s glass before topping and taking up his own to stop his hands where they had started shaking. “Say it?” He glances at Crowley sidelong, shrugging helplessly. “For one.”
