Summary
With an unexpected attack from the androids and an unlucky explosion, refugee Bulma Briefs with her young son Trunks and 14-year old Gohan discover that they have been zapped not only to the past, but to an alternate universe!
By reluctant agreement, Gohan is training King Vegeta the Fourth with the eventual hope that he will become a Super Saiyan for this universe.
