He had never seen a body before. Whenever there was a really bad twist in a case, Charmy was either not allowed to go or had his eyes covered by another member of Chaotix. When that happened, he knew it was bad.
He learned when to identify how bad a situation or case was depending on if Espio tried to hide his crying in his pillow at night. Or if Vector was quieter than usual in the mornings.
The little bee had learned to let them process it in their own time, to be quiet and not bother others. And maybe that's what he needed too, like a good detective.
