Summary
Pomni and Zooble both knew they shouldn't snoop but Jax had been so off as of late. It was kinda tiring honestly, him acting fine when it was clear he wasn't. If Pomni wasn't nicer she'd say it was annoying, but she had seen a side of Jax he had closed off so hard she felt empathetic for him. Zooble on the other hand could care less, she mostly came along because if Jax walked in Zooble knew Pomni wouldn't want to be alone with him given recent events or vice versa.
They both looked around the room not really sure what they were searching for, just a sign of how to help Jax they supposed.
(Or: Pomni and Zooble go snooping in jax's room and end up going somewhere they shouldn't)

He ran with the sound of the officers crashing through the stalks behind him, their flashlights cutting swaths through the dark, their voices calling out to him to stop, to freeze, to give up.

I wanted to give a second meaning to Jax's fear of corn beyond just trypophobia. Or more specifically- cornfilelds. Aka Jax's homelessness arc lmao and how he steals food to survive.

[It will also follow through similar events of episode 8 and 9. Of course not a replication but there will be overlapping. But that will take a while to reach.][NO EPISODE 9 SPOILERS!]
"It took Jax three tries before he managed to steady his trembling hand to slot the key into the lock. He watched his fingers shake with a strange, clinical detachment, as if they belonged to someone else.
It took another three to recall which way to turn the key.
He slammed the door with what little energy he had left, then collapsed solemnly onto the bed with a pained groan.
This is going to be a looooong night."
This fic is multi-character centric! While some chapters could be heavily Jax centric, everyone will still get a chance to shine. One of my goals for this fic is to explore platonic relationships which are not found in the show. As well as some romantic! Though the fic is not heavy for all of the lovey-dovey stuff.

somehow made everything brighter, when they started seeing each other as humans, as friends, they never forgot those friends who left , despite that..
The last abstraction wasn't like any other one , not only because of who Jax was, nor because of who Mateo is ,“it” was calm..too calm, that huge tent in the middle of the circus that they all passed by and sometimes stopped drowning in thoughts…they made peace, but even the digital realm isn't stable- Language:
