Shredder would destroy the Hamato clan from within. An infection would eat away at them little by little, until nothing remained. His intention was clear: he aimed at the captain of the ship.

But the responsibility for pulling the trigger wouldn't be his.

Such an incredible, incredible story!! One of my favorites on the site. Handles dark topics incredibly well and scratches every angsty Leo itch I’ve ever had. Takes psychological horror to another level and really puts you into Leo’s perspective. Highly recommend!!

    Summary

Red knows that he's one of the many scums of the earth. He knows that he's only at the bottom of the list because he hurts those who deserve it. That's what he signed up to do, undemocratic interrogations that lead to taking murderous vermin off the streets before they can wipe out any more living souls. Donatello was playing hardball, but Red was far more experienced at this game. He was going to get that confession, settle his conscience, and kill the cocky freak.

    That was the plan anyway.

    -

When Red realizes that they kidnapped the wrong guy, he starts to wonder if his view of the world might be a bit skewed.

[For this fanfic to make sense, it heavily relies on the fact that you read 'The Turtleman' by RayInTheBackrooms BEFORE you read this one. There’s a link over the notes portion if you want to check it out!]

An incredible fanfic with enough Raph and Donnie angst to kill a horse (in the best way possible). It handles darker themes with the respect they deserve and is just overall a wonderful read! I would absolutely recommend checking it out!!
