Years ago, Evangeline Anora Booth was born to teenage parents Victoria Selwyn- a pureblood witch- and Maxwell Booth- a muggle-born wizard. She was raised in France for four years before being kidnapped by her maternal grandparents, at the behest of Albus Dumbledore-- who had just learned of her gift for Legilimency. Raised in an abusive household with no way out, Evangeline turns to Dumbledore for help. Instead, he offers her a position she cannot refuse, one that will save her best friend and maybe do some good.

Bellatrix Black was born the eldest daughter of the Ancient and Noble house of Black. After her middle sister admits to falling in love with a muggle born, she goes to Albus Dumbledore to find a way she can help. She takes up a position as a spy for the Dark Lord, and has remained there for years.
Until one night, she finds out she is being followed by the annoying and frustratingly beautiful Evangeline Selwyn.
She just might have to kill her in order to keep her position safe.

The war left Hermione's life in shambles. Two years later, she has started building a semblance of a life in London, completely cut off from the Wizarding World, when she gets an offer she cannot refuse.Taking a leave of absence from work, Hermione finds herself back at Hogwarts, when she finds out that McGonagall left out a huge bit of information, her new DADA professor and co-teacher, is none other than Bellatrix Lestrange, the woman who tortured her.
Bellatrix is struggling. The war had taken its toll on her body and mind, her years as a spy leaving her still disliked in many parts of the world. Not to mention, she lost the woman she loved most in the final battle, leaving her a single mother of a bubbly five-year-old. She is taking up the DADA post and is hoping to find a semblance of normalcy. Then, Hermione Granger shows up, turning her world inside out, healing wounds and making new ones.
Evangeline is dead, has been dead for nearly two years. Stuck in a form she didn't want, her lover raising their daughter without her, all she wanted was to stay in the shadows, to hide. But life, like always, had other plans for her. Danger is around every corner, and love, love blooms in the most unlikely situations
