It’s a sickening sound, the crack. Hopes he never hears it again, especially because it’s Robby. Robby, who lies there after, not moving. Dazed. Brings a hand up to the now bleeding back of his head.

Summary
Jack lost his soul mark when he lost his leg. He felt the connection but he was too much of a coward to say anything.
Robby thought Jack didn't want him. There was no acknowledgement of the soul mark and he saw Jack flirting. It's the final straw that broke him.
If only these two would use their words.
