“Who the hell are you?” Agatha said, her smile still firmly plastered on her face. It was the smile of a hunter toying with her pray. Agatha's canines glinted dangerously in the torch light and Rio felt a flutter in her stomach at the thought of them biting into her flesh.
“Do you really want to know?” asked Rio in dulcet tones, as she made her way towards Agatha. She didn’t stop until she was a few small steps away from the witch so that the only thing separating them was the magic barrier. She bent her body towards Agatha’s inviting her to lean forward like she was about to reveal a secret to her. The witch couldn’t resist her call, her body moving on autopilot almost like there was a magnetic pull between them and maybe there was.

Taking place after 1x04.
“Maybe I don’t know your pain,” Rio admitted, her voice softening as she stepped closer, the distance between them charged with electricity. “But I am, after all, the Queen of Loss.”
The title hung in the air like a ghost, both regal and tragic, a reflection of the burden Rio bore. “I’ve watched kingdoms crumble. I’ve felt the weight of every life extinguished. I know the taste of grief better than anyone. It’s the darkness I’ve embraced, and I’m not here to deny you that darkness. But you have to choose whether you want to drown in it or rise above.”
Agatha's heart ached at the raw honesty in Rio's eyes, the darkness within her echoing the tumult in Agatha's own soul. The familiar tension shifted, twisting like a vine around them, a dance of despair and desire. “And if I choose to drown?”
“Then I’ll drown with you,” Rio replied, a wicked glint flashing in her eyes. “But I've always preferred the you that embraces and controls the darkness better. Let it fuel you instead of suffocating you.”

A different turn on the road, one more word spoken or remark withheld. One whim of the most fickle of things – the heart, would have upturned the way it all unfolded completely. And so the moment that it all went on a different path was as simple as it was impossible. As tough as the hardest of challenges and as easy as letting go of the heaviest of burdens. It all changed when the Queen not yet Evil chose to forgive the Princess.
