Sungho squints, and brings up his hands when Jaehyun does the same. “What? Like, two?” Sungho holds up his fingers, confused. “Like, the number?”
“No. As in, I like you, Park Sungho,” Jaehyun says—and then it takes a moment for it to register in Sungho’s brain that Jaehyun was signing the words as well. “And I like Taesan—” Jaehyun stops in mid-air, and simply says the word, “—too.”
Sungho sits there with his jaw dropped, eyes wide.
“It’s like this,” Sungho starts. “Myung Jaehyun,” he says, mimicking all the signs that Jaehyun must have practiced so diligently before coming here: “I like you—” and Sungho simply exaggerates the movement on the last word, “—too.”

Seunghan's tone softens. "Tell me, Sohee, please."
Sohee can't help the whimper that he tries to muffle into the sheets. Fuck fuck fuck.
"That's it, I'm coming over."
There's shuffling on the other line and Sohee can't help the anticipation that's bubbling in his chest, suffocating him even further.
"Seunghan, wait, I—", Sohee panics and the shuffling comes to a halt. Seunghan could be holding his breath on the other line just as Sohee tries to calm his own ragged breathing. "I'm in heat."
There, he said it. There's a little relief in it, at least until his anxiety takes over as he waits for Seunghan's response.
"Oh my God", Seunghan mutters, just loud enough for Sohee to pick up on. "I'll be there in ten, okay? Hang on for me."
OR: Sohee's heat is long overdue. Enter Seunghan.

And the bastard had the nerve to say out loud, “Phew, that was a close one!” before casually walking out of the bathroom to continue going about his day unbothered, whistling as he towel dried his hair. Infuriating.
Snapping the notebook in his hands shut, Mingi phased through the walls, floating above his target with his arms crossed as the human got dressed and made himself a cup of coffee, Yunho upgrading from whistling to humming beneath Mingi’s invisible glare.
By all accounts, Jeong Yunho was a perfectly ordinary soul, his near black aura signifying that he was at the end of his life cycle and therefore in need of reaping. So why wouldn’t he die?

The warning was there, they had time to make it out. When the power went out without a moment’s notice followed by the water disappearing shortly after, Seonghwa knew that his screaming instincts weren’t to be ignored like his roommate told him. The portable radio they used only screamed static except for the occasional alarming words that no one believed because it was April 1st and it was all supposedly a big prank.
That’s all it was, right? Some big prank? That’s what Seonghwa’s roommate told him at least, but look where his roommate was now.
