Jax, post abstraction, starts going down a rabbit hole (pun intended) of self discovery and reflection, including some much needed apologies. While she’s still kinda an asshole, and it’ll take time to rebuild bridges… at least she’s trying.

The title of Commander, just like that of the Colossal Titan, doesn’t come without its burdens.
It feels like Berlyn spends more time waiting for Minerva to come home or trailing behind her while she is busy than they get quality time together. But even on those days when she feels like she’s running out of time waiting, she nonetheless tries to take Minerva’s mind off of work and show the Commander of the Survey Corps a good time, and that she’s still there.

“Taste…” She hummed in curiosity waiting for Joan to explain, but the ash-haired brunette’s eyes glazed over and she shrugged feeling something unusual settle between them. “Taste what?”
“The lip gloss you got me…” Joan leaned a little closer and she remained planted in her spot. “I want you to taste it…” Joan’s hand appeared on her cheek and she used her thumb to rub underneath her eyes. “Would you like that?”
