Summary
Four years have passed since the battle with Galactus; New York is no longer as ruined. People have become more closely knit as a community. Rebuilding what has been ruined by the giant purple devourer. The Future Foundation stands among the skyscrapers as a pillar of hope, containing four members who sent Galactus to the far edges of space, with the help of Shalla Bal, sacrificing herself, sending her along with him. Johnny never got the chance to say thank you or goodbye; everything happened fast. With Sue pushing her limits to the brink of death, Franklin revives her, and the family rejoices when they finally win against Galactus.
During those four years, however, who couldn't have seen that Shalla Bal would ever make it back to Earth? Certainly not Johnny.

When MK and Sun Wukong went to visit Chang’e in her moon base, they thought that was the end of it. Chang’e was ready to accept that and return to her lonely existence of being trapped on the moon for the Autumn Fall Festival. But the moon suddenly cracks wide open and a stranger leaps out and tosses her to Earth, right into Sun Wukong’s arms!
Now the race to return to the earth, fight a new villain mayor with a strange rabbit assistant, while also battling amnesia is on Chang’es head.
But seems Sun Wukong knows more about what’s going on then he lets on. He avoids Chang’e while also wanting her safety above all else. And why are these strange memories rising from a past she doesn’t remember?

The mutants knock down every tower they build and all the progress they make, and now the Kraang are getting desperate.
But they have the technology, the interdimensional portals, and the mind control devices... and so they hatch a plan. It's a plan that cannot possibly fail. After all, who would be better to defeat the turtles than the turtles themselves?
