Freminet, who met Gaming at a previous year's Lantern Rite, returns to Liyue for an assignment. Gaming offers him a room to stay in and after a couple weeks things escalate. Gaming's love and attention is smoldering, yet Freminet wouldn't want it any other way.
I discovered Gaminet weeks ago and knew I just had to write something soft and loving between them.
I know Genshin ages are usually up in the air, but I believe the two of them to be 18+. Technically, this occurs a year after this year (2024) so actually Freminet would be 19 and Gaming would be like 21 but I digress... Just know they're of legal age.

Pomni loaded the gun and pressed it to the side of her head, glaring at Jax. The only reason she was doing this was to end this stupid fight. She hoped that maybe, if she cut it short here, he would forget about the whole thing and they could go back to being friends, sort of.
Jax’s expression barely budged but Pomni could see the anger still brewing within him. She sighed once more before pulling the trigger.

Summary
Pomni "falls" in a lake made of stupid sauce on one of Caine's adventures. The problem with stupid sauce, is that no one has a filter on it. Another problem can arise when you suspect a mischievous rabbit to actually have nice tendencies, even when other people don't believe him. The biggest problem is that it can reveal animosities one has against the people who appear the nicest.
All Jax can do it watch while Pomni manages to embarrass him in front of everyone more than she embarrasses herself.
