“Why do you want to know?” Yelena replied as she arched an eyebrow.
“I.. Well..” Kate sighed at her failure to be smooth.
Yelena stepped closer and backed Kate up against the wall beside the roof’s door. Her gaze dropped briefly to the brunette’s lips. “Why are you asking, Kate Bishop?”
“Because.. because.. Ugh, this is not going the way I pictured it in my head. I am so not being smooth.”
“And what exactly were you picturing about me?”...
