There were several long moments where he tried to wrangle the maelstrom in his head into concrete phrases, and not just inane banter about cheese or lampposts or other nonsense. Even he knew that some things were too important to joke about. “I want to finally feel like I have some control.” He couldn't hold her gaze – it was too raw, too real, too much. “I need to know I’m not worthless,” he whispered.
“You’ve never been worthless,” she said with a surprising amount of fervor. “I’ll always need you with me.” She stretched up on her toes for a kiss, but she didn’t close the final distance between them. “And if you want control, you can have it with me.”

“I…I want to watch you and Hawke. You said that she would want it even from Anders so do you think she’d accept it from me?” Sebastian asked, his eyes gleaming with a conflict of desire and apprehension.

Summary
This takes place at the point where Hawke and Fenris get back together. I was completely dissatisfied with the idea that Hawke was still in love with Fenris but was OK with him calling it quits after one night, but then lets Fenris still hanging around the group and they all act like nothing significant had happened. Then Hawke and Fenris have this kind of casual conversation and everything is fixed and they are back together and all is well. Complete crap. So this is my version of how things “really” went.
