Normally it was quiet at this time, with the only noise coming from a cricket and a soft rustling in bushes from some animal. Tonight a noise pierced his ears. A choked sobbing noise. The noise couldn't have been from anyone older than an toddler.

Lucifer comes to live at the hotel manic and unbalanced, driving his daughter and the other residents up the wall. Unable to think of a better plan, Vaggie makes a Deal with Alastor. He would take care of the king for six months, after which Lucifer would be forced to leave the hotel.
Alastor takes to the task with gusto, but quickly finds out he might be in over his head.

Understanding people is something Alastor is not always skilled at. But while people can be challenging- their possessions are much easier to understand.
And so he collects. In his little nest of a bed in which he dwells, tucked into the corner of his room at the Hotel- that is where his collection lays. And because Charlie makes it a point to enforce the good manners of respecting one’s privacy- and likely because everyone is just a little scared of him- no one ever looks in his rooms. His collection is a secret kept only by himself.
It’s not a problem. He could stop any time, if he so wished.
But why would he stop when the taking is so much fun?
Or: In which Alastor is a creepy little fuck and steals trivial possessions of those he cares about. No one notices, until Lucifer does.

Angel groans, sliding a set of hands down his face in a desperate attempt to wipe away his frustration. “Alright, Charlie, spill. You found the edibles, didn’t you?”
Charlie sags, losing her composure as quick as a balloon losing air. “…yes. Well, no. Kinda.”
“…kinda?!” Angel and Cherri ask in unison.
“I didn’t find your edibles. Um…Husk and Niffty did. And we sorrrta have a problem.”
When Husk ends up accidentally high, Angel Dust and Cherri are tasked with keeping an eye on him. Angel figures whatever, it’s what friends do, right? This won’t change their dynamic, no, certainly not.
(Too bad Husk is charming even as a drugged mess.)

Husk is quick to notice Angel Dust’s discomfort when he returns from the studio, and when Angel’s night ends with him on the floor of his bathroom, Husk is right there to let him know everything will be okay.
