Summary
Richie Lipschitz finds himself shambling Hatchetfield High's Halls after a series of test, after test, after test and a long night of reluctant studying.
He's tired. Wayyy too tired than what his body can handle. His eyes are blurry, his body feels like it's zipping in and out of REM, and he can't tell left from up. But then he sees it. His good friend Peter Spankofski. He won't mind if Richie leans on him, right? Just a hug. They've done worse...
So, walking up to him, Richie opens his arms, and scoops them around Peter's body. Letting out a deep contented sigh. He's about to talk about the absolute slaughter that was his tests when he notices something. The perfume is wrong. Peter doesn't even wear perfume... This shirt is different... and where are his suspenders? Then he hears that voice.
"The fuck?"

For many centuries humanity has gazed into the stars asking them if they are alone in this cold uncaring universe but what they weren't expecting was for it to actually give them an answer.
5 years after the sudden appearance of a new intelligent race and many many debates on how to deal with this and the Berkian Accord of Draconic Integration was established with it's main goal being the establishment of a peaceful coexistence between humanity and their new acquired draconic neighbors.
To do this the Department of Interspecies Cultural Exchange Affairs was charged with placing dragons into the homes of civilian host and hoping they can figure out how to live together in harmony.
One of the civilians selected for the program is the mechanic Hiccup Horrendous Havock III who is currently tasked with providing care and support to the injured Night Fury dubbed subject 734.
