“I thought you were upstate!” Peter says in what is quite arguably a prepubescent squeak. “How’d you--how’d you get here?”
Tony’s mouth twitches. He pockets his shades and unzips his wool pea coat with a flamboyant gesture. “Well, you see, Mr. Parker, when you’re a billionaire, you have these things called chauffeurs--”
“Well, I know that.” Peter has the audacity to frown in impatience. “Happy’s outside? He can totally come inside. I mean, if you’re staying, that is--I didn’t mean--uh.”
“Of course I’m staying. Your Aunt Panini bullied me into this,” says Tony with a wave of his hand. When Peter moves toward the door, he adds, “Happy’s not here. I flew over.”
Peter does a comical yo-yo motion, darting his head back and forth between Tony and the door. “Is it--is the suit here?” he whisper-yells with a pointed finger and more reverence than he ever showed Tony Stark himself collectively.

Or, the one where Tony comes over expecting to babysit Peter and help decorate over Christmas weekend, but instead learns there's yet another side to the kid's pure-hearted generosity that lives on in the face of loss, death and poverty.

Peter just sobbed because he wasn’t strong enough to fight against whoever held him captive. Distantly he smelled motor oil on whoever held him. The steady pressure of the weight of the warm palms calmed him, and he leaned into the person’s chest, sniffling.
“There you go,” a low voice crooned, leaning him back into the bed. “It’s ok son.”

"Oh," he said tentatively. Another hewmin thing! He shuffled closest to the wall Grace was huhging and leaned in. "Oh. Am I doing correctly, hmm?"
"Yis," Grace sighed out, calming down. He still leaked, though.
Oh, well. Leaky hewmins were his favorite, after all.

“CBC. A complete blood count.” I answer, hoping he doesn’t ask me why.
“Purpose, question?”
Rocky, please. I’m trying to spare you right now.
Basically, Grace gets exposed to a dangerous amount of radiation during an EVA and doesn't want to tell Rocky bc of what happened to Rocky's crew <3
THIS IS A REWORKED VERSION OF "TEMPEST" - after some comments, I wanted to keep the soul of the story, but make it more scientifically plausible. While there are still probably some inaccuracies, I still hope this isn't as messy as before.

Summary
He just wanted to be alone.
But he hasn’t had that luxury for a long, long time. Stratt’s people always know where he is. It is the nature of being part of a classified project. Assets don't get to just wander away whenever they feel like it.
So, really, it is the illusion of privacy he finds on the rooftop. Alone with his looming demons.
Or a short story based entirely on that two-second scene in the movie showing Grace in his raincoat on the roof.
