So when Chris mentions that he has a buddy who's also (kinda), a dad, Ethan can't help but be intruged. Rose had been pestering him to get more friends than just the Boulder Puncher™ anyway, so what better than to befriend a fellow dad?

It didn't make any more sense the second time she said it. “What?” He felt like a broken record.
She sighed as she walked over to stand in front of him like proximity might help any of this make more sense. Jokes on her the closer she got the less he was paying attention.
